#1992 Activity Worker

Nature of position:

Casual on-call
0. Varied hours: Tuesday, Wednesday 3pm-6pm and/or bi weekly Friday 5pm-8pm. Hours are not guaranteed.
Child and Youth Care and/or Human Service Worker certification, or equivalent, is an asset. Previous experience, paid or volunteer, working with children between the ages of twelve to nineteen years of age with mental and physical disabilities, autism and/or behavioural challenges is preferred. Must be able to work independently and have an awareness of leisure and recreational opportunities in the community.

Rate of pay:

As per Collective Agreement - Grid Level 8


Community Access Services


Current: First Aid and CPR; negative TB test results; Food Safe, WHMIS, Driver’s Abstract; Class 5 Driver’s License. Criminal Record Check through the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General, and Physician’s Approval.
