$20.52 per hour

Supported Child Development - Various child care programs in Campbell River
Requirements:
Must be an early Childhood Educator with current BC License to practice as an early Childhood Educator. Three years’ experience working in an inclusive child care setting. Preference may be given to an Early Childhood Education Special Educator with current BC License to practice as an Early Childhood Education Special Educator. Current Criminal Record Checks, physician approval, TB test results, First Aid and CPR required as per Association policy.
Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills:
Ability to collaborate and work effectively as a member of an inter-professional team. Strong oral communication, organizational, and documentation skills. Ability to provide a calm, healthy, responsive relationship with the child and to establish and maintain supportive, collaborative relationships with families and child care setting staff. Able to work independently and efficiently with minimum supervision. Ability to maintain confidentiality and maintain a positive, professional, non-judgmental attitude. Must be physically fit, willing and able to meet all physical demands of the job.
